Can it be true????

So I'm sad and excited to say that the day has finally come. My little man (Jaxton) started PreSchool. I am sad for me (for obvious reasons. I guess they do have to grow up) but I am so excited for him. He LOVES it. He asked me every day when the next day is that he gets to go to school. I know one reason why. I think he has a little crush on his teacher (She is darling and so cute with all the kids in his class). He told me that he likes her more than the farm. Which, if you know Jaxton, is huge!

BIG BOY!

OKAY OKAY...... So I know that every parent thinks that their kids are so smart, but I am so proud of my little Statton. He barely turned 2 in July and he already loves to go on the potty. We started reading a potty book so I thought it would be fun for him to get Jax's old little potty out. Not only did he think it was fun but now when we are home he will only go on the potty. What a GENIUS (LOL)! He hasn't ventured to any away from home potty use (can you blame him) Anyways . . .I had to share this exciting news.

1. I laughed at everyone for reading the "Vampire" books. Now I love them too!
2. Collecting clothes is a talent! I NEED to go through my closet. What is it they say. . .if you haven't worn it in the last year give it away. What about the last 5? Ha Ha
3. I am obsessed with spending time with my family. It may sound cheesy but I love spending all my extra moments with my 'hubby' and sons.

Funny Story - During the parade a lady on a four wheeler dumped her box of candy and fliers. Don't worry, even though we were down the street, my Jaxton took off. He was right in the mist of the candy grabbing. He is hilarious!!!

SUMMER FUN

This summer has gone by so fast! We have had too much fun with our friends and families. Here is a quick glance and some of the fun things we've been doing.

" The FUN of Camping"

We went with the whole "McMurdie crew" camping up in Heber City. We had a blast. My boys did't leave much dirt at the campground. After they had been awake for 5 minutes they were out playing in the dirt, covered from head to toe. Boys will be Boys!

Family pictures. Let's be serious......I am so glad that we get them but they can be exhausting! Ha-Ha!!! Luckily we have Natalie Dutre take ours. She does a great job! She is so patient with my boys and us. LOL.

'The Fam"

Well, here we are! This is the fam. Let's start with my husband, that I absolutely adore. Derek is from Tremonton Ut. He is a farmer. He cherishes our boys, likes to golf, loves to be outside, and will actually go and do things that I love to do. Meeting and marrying Derek is my gift in life. Our first son Jaxton is going to be 5 in June. He is very independent and loves to "go to work". He knows every kind of tractor there is and what every piece of equipment does. If I would let him he could probably run them himself. He is the BEST big brother. He loves to play with Statton, when they're not teasing each other (ha ha). Being with Derek is one of his favorite things to do, but before he goes he always makes sure that I am taken care of. He loves riding on his little four wheeler. He will be starting PreSchool this fall, he can't wait! Next came Statton. He is Jaxtons shadow. They may not look alike, but he is such a little twin. Statton also loves tractors. Some of his first words were: tractor, dully, and combine. He also says skidsteer every time he sees one. He is my cuddle bug, but I will admit that he would say that he is Dereks cuddle bug first. He idolizes his daddy and never wants Derek to leave. He is going through such a fun age. The stage where a kiss makes everything instantly better. He has a contagious smile that makes all of us grin. I love having 2 boys! Lastly I will give you the run down on me. My name is Taylor and I am from South Ogden. I met Derek almost 7 years ago and have felt lucky ever since. I enjoy and love being with my family! I also like to shop and decorate. My free time consists of cleaning before my kids ask me for another snack or to reach another toy. Could I be any luckier, I didn't think so either. I love that I get to be home with my boys, they're only little for so long!

So that's us! Get ready for some hilarious events. I can honestly say that our lives are not boring or uneventful.
